Doing more by 8:00 AM than most people do all day

You know, Army, that was never a selling point for me but it was my life today. I had to get up uber early because I had a PT appointment at 0700. WHO does that? I woke up and knew it was after 5 because I could hear the news on NPR instead of classical music so I hurried into the bathroom then back to bed figuring I could sneak in a half hour more. The alarm went off 30 seconds later. Sigh. And of course I only slept about 4 hours because of daylight savings time and my body going but it's NOT that late yet...

I was discharged from PT even though my pain isn't better. It's mostly arthritis and PT can't help. She was surprised I have all sorts of adductor pain I didn't before this started. It might be from that fall. However strength wise I went from a -4 (on a scale from -4 being the worse/weakest to a +5 being full strength) to a +4 so YAY. Now to keep it up. So PT did what it was meant to do. But sadly I still have to use the cane for now.

Since it wasn't even 730 yet, I went to have my blood drawn for my diabetes check next week. I hate doing it in Jackson since they have unfriendly phlebs who always mess up. She got it in one try but stabbed the nerve and I have a hematoma. Gah.

And since it wasn't even 0800, I went and voted. For some reason they had heavy equipment everywhere and I thought maybe it wasn't at the fire hall any more. It was. The guy there freaks me out. He sees me once a year. He's all 'hi Dana. Still at the university?' I WISH I could remember faces/names like that. I loathe talking politics but I will say I couldn't be more disappointed in OH democrats than I am now. I know I have Clinton fans here but I have to respectfully disagree with you. Sigh. I did my part. That's all I can do.

Went to the bank to find out why I haven't had a health savings account statement in forever and where was my tax info. As expected the idiot post office told them I moved. They keep doing that. Twits.

Wasn't at work 5 minutes before my temporary cap fell off my tooth. Sigh. I swallowed it. Bah.

But I got to rehydrate pathogenic bacteria so that made me happy.

And the best part of the day was tonight. There was a question on Queer SciFi as to who was your favorite QUILTBAG author and someone said me and Kept Tears. I feel so happy right now.
