Mount Saint Helen's is off the table
Jul. 8th, 2016 11:24 pmThe tour guides don't go there on either of my two open days. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to come home a day earlier or take some walking tours in Portland. I'm going to look at costs and buy the tickets tomorrow.
I've found some cool things to do in Pittsburgh too but let's see if I actually do them. One of them is an eating/walking tour that is about 20$/hr and 2 hours long. I'm not sure exactly what it includes yet
Mom and I did some shopping today. Macy's was having a big one day sale. Got 135$ high thread count sheets for 40$. Whoo hoo. Got a solitary new towel (because I'm weird that way). Got too much at Marshalls, a wool skirt for 15$, really pretty jeweled sandals, some Christmas gifts, a coloring book, a skull shaped glass soap dispenser, a measuring cup, a glass ball for my air plant (that the cashier didn't wrap in bubble wrap and put in the bottom of the bag!) and some socks (that barely fit, 9-11 my butt).
Costco is the devil. More of that Korean pork jerky, all the fruit in the world, enough mayo to make a jillion egg sandwiches, shrimp (I really wanted the ahi tuna but the parentals don't), a big box of yakisoba and more.
I also found three futons at Value City. Huzzah. I'll get one of them when I go back.
