So no travel stuff today

I am trying very hard to get an upper respiratory/sinus infection (thank you air flight) so I've been slow.

Mom and I went to the casino and that went as well as my flight did. Snort. At least the buffet was delicious as usual.

Came home to find Dad in an emotional state. His SiL said something hurtful about us being 'rich' and rubbing it in everyone's face. The one thing I can say is that is one thing my dad has never done. We're not rich. We're middle class. His brother and his wife have spent most of their adult life on SSI (and hers was dubious at best. His is quite real). But they also have the mineral rights money too. They're not poor b ut she is very resentful some times so now I'm either going to have to sneak down there to say good bye in a day or so or she apologizes.

And while I was gone Mom's lap top bit the dust. Now I'm trying to teach her to use Windows 10 and either there is something wrong with the new lappie or the shitty wireless or both so that wasn't going well.

So everyone was snappish and crabby so I just didn't feel like the travel stuff but I will. I wish I could show everyone the fantastic job the Lan Su Chinese gardens did with their visitor info. It's beautiful. I'm keeping it. I need to get a scrap book.

I've also started my copy of Harry Potter & the Cursed Child. So far I'm not that impressed but it's early days.

And oh I go back to OH this weekend.
