So that's good to know

So tonight I met with the friend who's helping me with my author website. But nothing really has been done in a year. I didn't really get into WHY this has been the case as I don't want to wreck friendships if I don't have to.

Anyhow he had done what I asked for. I have access to do my OWN changes but I guess assumed I knew that (I didn't) but never followed up on why I've done jack shit.

So long story short, I can now work on my website. Yay. I did forget to ask after how to put PDF freebies.


And it looks like I have a time for my talk at the body exhibit but I'll have to confirm it tomorrow.

And I like the new carrot our ML is going to use for Nano (charms)

I feel oddly prepared

My nails are painted, my cosplay is laid out, my change-into clothes are also in a bag (though I'm not sure how this is going to work given how far away I might have to park. I might just be changing my shoes). All I need to do is shave my legs and find my reddest lip stick and I'll be all set to play SHion Karanmori from Psycho-Pass.

Speaking of being prepared I'll be hosting a Write Everyday challenge in October. It's super simple. You tell me what you wrote that day (whenever I get the post up) and I'll (in theory) keep the monthly tally. If you're interested, let me know. Doesn't have to be huge gobs of words. Think of it as a nano-prep.

On the upside the edits for More than His Scars are easy and they thought the story was sweet. On the downside there was something I wanted to bring out more strongly in this but I can't remember what it is. I hope I remember within a day or two.

Also on the downside, I'm in the cycle where everything nauseates me. Gah. that will suck tomorrow because I can't stop for lunch at hillbilly hot dog in costume and I don't know when/where I'll eat lunch. Dinner's covered.

ANd the outside cat raced inside out of the rain. He made it nearly to the back rooms before Kanda decided None SHall Pass. He didn't hurt the little guy. THey just sniffed each other. He fought me terribly as I put him back out, the poor thing.

Also on the down side, I edited chapter 4 of Blood Red which I had combined with a repetitive later scene and OMFG, was I high when I did it? I put it together in a terrible, repetitive and downright confusing way. Damn, how embarrassing.

But back on the plus side, my talk for the Bodies exhibit will be on Oct 23rd. I'm very excited.

And they had free butternut squash in the library from someone's garden. Whee.
