What the hell

Somehow my stupid halloween post ended up changed to October 1st but yet Kira and ELD found it. I changed it back.

So I went to the kick off party for nano. It was nice. I wrote plenty on my blog post for the upcoming marketing push for Once Upon the Time in the Weird West. It'll be in a fairly large review blog so I'm worried about that.

Today was utterly pissy though at work. I autoclaved some nutrient broth and the whole thing filled with water. We're praying it's just a clogged drain because we have FOUR research projects that require the use of the autoclave (not to mention the classes who need it).

This week is made of suck

The autoclave wasn't fixed with what we did. Sigh. This is huge. If was can't get it fixed, four research projects grind to a halt. We have classes that need it. And all the cool new things we hoped to buy with that donation we got are gone because we HAVE to have an autoclave. Bah.

In good news, I put up the x-ray of my hand and my students (the majors, not the nurses) picked up ALL the problems, like the fact there are fused bones in my wrist, that my thumb is dislocated (it just slides out of place, I barely notice any more, just slap it back into place) and the thumb joint with all the bone mites (i.e. arthritis)




So I'm proud of them.


ELD called (yay). I've been working on class stuff until now so not going to have much progress on nano. I'll bbl with that.
