Writerly Ways
Nov. 13th, 2017 09:56 pmI had a lot I wanted to say but since I'm on a roll today writing I think I'll just share some links and a cover reveal for me.
Have a look at my steampunk Christmas short story The Glow of Luminiferous Aether on Tinsel . It's my first with a new publisher. In fact, I'm looking for an ARC team. What it means is I have a certain number of advance reader copies that I can give out in exchange for a review on the day of publication (ideally) or there after (all reviews are good) on Amazon and/or Goodreads (sad to say it's Amazon that matters most because a story won't be pushed by Amazon's bots unless it gets 50 reviews or so says those who might know. If you're interested, PM me. See my cover and a snippet here
And if anyone wants a peek at the nano novel at some point let me know.
Have some links first drafts
conflicting advice about query letters
productivity
thrilling action scenes
five-stories-that-violate-their-own-conceit
liberating-over-burdened-stories
writing convincing death scenes
how to launch a scene
Yearly word count (still SO anemic)
46021 / 100000 words. 46% done!
