President's Day

For reasons I can't fathom I get the day off. I'd rather be teaching. MOst of the students would rather be there too but whatever. I arranged to take my car in for an oilchange and I planned on looking at a new vehicle. I tried and THREE sales reps utterly ignored me. SOoooo I'll be buying my next vehicle elsewhere and when they ask me I'll tell them why. In fact if I DO get the survey from Honda like I usually do, I'll be putting this in there.

SInce I was up in Chillicothe, I went shopping. I found some rose raspberry white chocolate cookies that silvrethorn told me about (Yummy) bought more stupid sweets than I should, bought Panera's asaigo cheese bagels (omg good) got weird stuff at TJ Maxx including a glass bunny for Mom and small planter that looks like a rock for my next bonsai. I need to get a few more of those since I've managed to kill most of them. Sigh.

I had a gift card to Red Lobster so I went to Lobsterfest. That was yummy and I hit the Kroger's up there. As proof of how blue collar Chillicothe is, that Kroger's while bigger than Jackson's (and Chillicothe being MUCH bigger) it wasn't as nice as mine. And every time I'm there I run into someone who smells like they shit their pants. today was no exception.

I drove home with the windows down and I'm in a t-shirt. In Feb!

I know have the first round of edits for Blood Red Roulette. I'm too nervous to open them tonight. That can be a nightmare for tomorrow. Crosses fingers it's not TOO horrible.
