The adventure begins
Jun. 14th, 2018 09:41 pmIt's a big tour, 44 of us, most of them Texans which was strange. I have to leave early in the morning. Can't wait.
The dinner tonight (half the reason I'm posting because I want to remember to try my hand at this) was a chicken penne with a curry cream sauce mixed with maple syrup so it had a sweet entry and a warm finish. Yummy stuff. I want more of that.
There was a nice little pool here. I forget how much I like to swim. Without knowing it, I spent an hour doing water aerobics. Tomorrow on the bus, I'll probably be like 'Mommy!'
The morning, however, didn't get off to a great start. I spent it blowdrying my underpants. The saline solution managed to escape it's plastic bag (In case it leaked) and leaked everywhere in the luggage and I didn't realize it last night.
