Nano snippet - She felt the eyes too. She tossed out a wave of magic, searching for other magic. She’d heard of people able to shape shift though she’d never seen that type of magic herself. Echoes sounded back from her own men but there was something else. A whisper she couldn’t account for rode the wind. They were too alone here, too far from the castle and reinforcements. Solan crafted a luminous bird murmuring where she was, what she feared and how many reinforcements should be sent. She released the magical creature into the air. If something happened now, they would at least know back home where to look for their bodies.
