That is one LONG boring drive
Mar. 4th, 2019 11:09 pmI made it to Indiana and
evil_little_dog's. My Howard Johnston's is nice but um was it necessary to paint the wood work around the doors in Hojo's orange and teal alternating down the hallway like a 60's LSD dream? (Mine's teal). The mod art on the wall is kinda interesting. The toilet that's about two inches off the ground is gonna be the death of me.
Luckily the snow didn't amount to much in our areas so the drive was fine except for my GPS's decision to use the 275 loop around Cincinnati and so in spite of knowing it's 32 to 71 to 64, that loop took me south of I64 and I ended up at a toll bridge. eye roll but if that's the worst that happens to me I can hardly complain.
My back is pretty sure it's broken (suck it up back, you're mostly fine).
Kanda, on the other hand, is not fine. He was pretty heart broken and then the kennel trolled him and put in a dog cage. You know what, I'm happier that way. The cat cages are narrow with just enough room on the ground floor for the litter and food and they're meant to sleep up on the shelves but Kanda doesn't climb because he's fat and lazy. He'll have more room in the dog cage.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the trip (not looking forward to the drive back mind you.)
So I'll be in and out for the next several days. I had something more to say but I can't remember what it is.
