This is my day in a nutshell

And the topping on this day was a) being told by administration I WILL be adding a third section to my new online class. They asked, we said no (not enough faculty to cover), dean said suck it up and b) my freaking laptop bricked. Sigh.

I still have time on that insanely overpriced Geeksquad thing from last year so I'll be calling them tomorrow and seeing if they'll look at it. I already knew it was on borrowed time so everything was backed up (I think) but the last thing I needed when I'm waiting to see if I have a job (in spite of that insane amount of online stuff) and prepping to go overseas was the expense of a new laptop.

Sigh.

However there was some fun today. I gave my last final (no that wasn't fun, that was just made of tears). I often tell the story about not liking shorts season because cat whiskers on bare skin feel like spider legs and how Kanda often gets hit in the face as a result. Four of my nursing students got together and got me this perfect mug as a gift.
