So listless
Sep. 27th, 2019 10:53 pmso tired. But I DID find this and it made me laugh and think of
enemytosleep. I'm sure she can guess why.

I decided to deep six my plan to go to the renn fest this week. It was 90 today. It'll be 90 tomorrow and it was a whole hell of a lot of screw that nonsense.
Weirdly I can write away from my computer but not at it. I hope I get over this nonsense soon.
Work still sucks.
Know what else sucks? I couldn't even find my novel in AMazon's search engine. THAT sucked. We were sharing books on my author social media and I put in the title and things that didn't even come close to matching popped up before it. That was just sobering.
But in much better news, I DID find a show on TV that I liked and since
spikedluv asked me for my thoughts, here they are. In some ways it doesn't offer anything new. It's a cop show with a profiler. We have a loose cannon (the profiler) and even him using the idea of talking to a serial killer isn't new, shades of Silence of the Lambs anyone? And even that is rooted in real cases where they've done this.
Malcolm Bright is a freshly fired FBI profiler tapped by an old friend who's a detective with NYPD because he has a copy cat killer who is using Malcolm's father, Dr. Whitly 'The Surgeon' (and he was a thorax surgeon) killing method. The family is wealthy. Sis is now a reporter. Mom still doing the things rich women do. Malcolm on the other hand is all kinds of majorly fucked up.
So a broken young man, that is my sick catnip so here I am. WIthout spoilers, I can say Michael SHeen as Whitly is delightfully creepy. Tom Payne as Malcolm pulls off PTSD, borderline bonkers very well. And oh, Lou Diamond Phillips is Malcolm's boss. 30 years has changed nothing. I still want that man. On the downside, I think Mom doesn't look old enough but okay whatever.
And for a ( major spoiler than nearly ruined it for me )
