Writerly Ways
May. 24th, 2020 09:29 pmI had thoughts but now they're gone because I'm too angry with myself for thoughts. Somehow I managed to mess up the universal remote when I finally put the DVD player into service. It's not allowing me to control the sound. Everything else works. So I hunt for the tv remote. I'll need it anyhow to watch to the DVD player. I find it, it doesn't work and I'm like this might be for the old TV. I set it aside and now it's 100% gone. WHAT the hell? And I don't see the newer one. Now i'm afraid I threw out the new one by mistake weeks ago. (which is unlikely but I think I did throw out one.) I'm hate when I do fucking stupid shit and this is stupid.
So I'm just going to give you the links and be done with this day.

ETA - Oh FFS, the remote wasn't working because when I flipped up the covering to the ugly TV stand to work on the DVD player, I didn't push it back down and it was blocking the signal. That still doesn't explain where the TV remote went after I was messing with it.
