Accomplished

Laundry got done in spite of ice and snow which is melting enough to trigger the sump pump under the apartment. I will say my new Merrill hiking boots make snow walking effortless. In fact I plan to go hiking next weekend if I can. I want to see the melt off waterfalls if possible.

I finished module five of my class, need to start module six. This last one was on diversity and I found it the most helpful so far. So I AM getting stuff out of this which is good.


I also have to make exams tomorrow.

I am also wading through faculty search hell. What I know A) if you're going into science get the damn PhD. This is an instructor job, low pay, non-tenure and we have over 2 dozen applicants half of which ARE PhDs. Sigh. Some of them are far more qualified than half the people we already have self included B) in science it's not a 'close enough' thing. We're looking for allied health a& p instructors so you're a marine biologist....C) We ALL have form cover letters that we put XXX as a place holder but for the love of god make sure you put the institution's name in there and not send it to us with the XXX there. D) Do some research on the institution because there is no way some of these people have.



Anyone want Moroccan BBQ sauce? I somehow have FOUR fucking jars. But I am also doing as I said I would. I'm going thru these ridiculous food bins and I'm using it all up whether or not i'm feeling it. I want it gone. I need to be in more control of this.
