So they want to have graduation face to face. They want to give a graduation to 2020's students. They estimate we might have to be there for five or more graduates to accomodate all them + family. Im like how about you leave the faculty home? That'll leave covid social distancing space FOR family. I mean that's who this is for. I'm just window dressing.

Overheard today, 'I can't believe you have two Doctor Evans classes back to back, I'm SO sorry.' then realizing I'm still standing there. 'I Love you Doctor Evans but your tests are HARD.' Fair enough, yes they are.


Speaking of tests, they did very well on my epidemiology test. I never got it as a student why so many professors openly hated fresh-soph classes. I get it now (but I don't tell them that, that's classless) This is all seniors and juniors. By now they know how to study, they're committed to their major and you feel like you're accomplishing things.

Generally I DO NOT engage with politicians, even ones I agree with, but Marjorie Taylor Greene pushed my buttons by posting up there are only two genders trust the science (as a take down of liberals saying that a lot lately) Had to point out to her a) gender is a social construct and b) there are SIX sex genotypes alone so yeah science doesn't even begin to agree with you (I really want to put a gendered insult here but I'll behave)


This is new even for me who finds fun ways to hurt herself. Tracy Deonn's Legendborn jumped from my hand and bit a gouge out of me. there's blood on the pages of my book! Dang it. Who knew it wanted a blood sacrifice ?


I was going to maybe rent DM's house. I told her next time it was open let me know. She did. However I think I'll pass. The last person in it TRASHED it. Literally the dog shit was so bad they had to snow shovel it out. It needs professionally decontaminated. Then she said a few things like they might not fix the upstairs bathroom and just use the downstairs (that's a huge no for me given how my diabetes makes me pee) and they were considering selling it (i get the idea hubby wants it gone) well with her cancer, what if I move and in 6 months he wants to sell it... yeah sigh. I really would have liked to have rented it otherwise.
