I finally got up the energy to sort through the bills and insurance denials. I have NO idea what to do there other than call. They do NOT tell you what is denied only if I want to lodge a grievance here is where to do it. HOW do you do that if you don't know what was denied or why. One was 10 days of the home but I know that resolved in my favor. I might owe a week of being in the hospital.

None of the ambulance bills have dates on them so I can't match them to the insurance. Argh. More calls.

Then the doctors at the skilled nursing weren't paid. I called them to find out a) what I owed and b) why it wasn't paid. Here OSU medical used my insurance data from TEN years ago. I asked them why would you do that? Did you not notice how old it was? When it was all denied why wouldn't you have contacted me? For that matter the home has my insurance why not call them?!?

I started posting the [community profile] getyourwordsout prompt stories. I'm pretty happy with how they came out. I spent the day editing them.
