Happy Father's Day and Writerly Ways
Jun. 20th, 2021 05:37 pmHappy Father's Day to the Dad's out there. I spent it at my brother's all afternoon, he tried to tape up my leg to decrease pain. I sweated the tape off. I am not made for summer.
I'm still not made for directed dreaming. Last night's dream, I was brought up to the airport counter in a wheelchair. They give me hand written plane tickets and take away my chair. They made me walk these long twisting hallways. I'm doing okay with the leg but I'm like why is it so far? Then I see a branch in the corridors. I go one way and see a stylized blue and white mural on the opening that said Time to visit patients and the ER. I'm like okay wtf WHY is there a hospital in an airport. I ask them and they said oh no departures is down the right branch. I do that and it goes outside to a silent city street, no airport. I see a metal bronze door in the building across the street and automatic glass doors. I go to the bronze one first but it's locked and then the glass doors disappear and I wake up.
There's no story in that either so have some links. And oh since I mentioned keeping me editing and accountable. I'm up to chapter 8.
