I missed Wednesday again

So you can have my reading thing now. All I did today was send in the Welsh dark fantasy story to a different anthology (so yes two stories set in Wales), worked on some work crap and then saw an off hand comment made by Tom Payne about being free of the Prodigal Son contract so even though Warner Brothers has not announced they've stopped marketing it elsewhere it seems like it's over (and what a shit move WB knowing what's going on with the campaign) Honestly I KNEW that they were out of contract and that we're unlikely to have a happy ending but you see this campaign trending in like a dozen countries (including China, Poland, Hungary and others you wouldn't expect) it's SO hard to see how a streamer could say no. A lot of fans were in literal tears after that. I truly hate 2021. Not one damn good thing has happened to me this year. Maybe at least a story will get bought.


a day late since nothing interesting happened today other than me going for a drive and doing just fine.

And I finished editing my Welsh steampunk short. Now to send it off.

Clockwork Heart by Dru Pagliassotti It's a steampunk fantasy that I enjoyed. I know there are two others so maybe I'll go looking for them

Death by Dissertation by Kelly Brakenhoff a cozy mystery that was so so in typical Cozy style we had love triangles and the protagonist doing stupid shit


What I'm Reading Now
Sanctuary of Spirits by Leanne Renee Hieber, an author who's been helpful to me. I like it so far but it's a touch slow.

Qi vampires and a shearing some lit rpg book I won off good reads that I have no idea why I wanted it. I'm not a huge lit rpg fan and still aren't.


What I'm Reading Next Something for Popsugar but I'm not sure what. And oh trying to read the back log of fanfic
