Almost got hit in the head by hummingbirds

Was afraid to do much today after yesterday so I opened my email to find out we're having two day-long faculty meetings this month. Raptor screech.

I did get some work done on the new learning software and then opened a story file to find only the first sentence saved. No clue where the rest of it went. More raptor screech.

Sat outside and two fighting hummingbirds almost head slam me.


And I've been meaning to type this since Saturday. I went to my great aunt's celebration of life. I haven't seen some of these cousins in years. It was nice. Sitting on the folding chairs wasn't. That was crippling. I didn't get to talk much to the two cousins close to my age. One said your dad was talking to me (for three hours) yeah sorry about that.

I spent most of the time talking to the generation behind me. My cousin's son's girlfriend had literally no one else her age there other than her boyfriend's sister (who didn't seem too interested in talking to her) Well she's a gamer girl, anime and comic book fan so I became the person to talk too and that was nice.

And oh I got all the amazon stuff today so all is well.
