It's a Dead Man's Party

I went to the virtual Abney Park concert. At first it wouldn't let me, literally took 15 minutes. bah. First time I ever had trouble with one of these concerts so I really can't complain and they did cover the Oingo Boingo song so that was fun. Danced a little (such as I am able), the knee is pouty but it was a fun concert as always. I wish their after party wasn't SO expensive though. I haven't opted for it (since well I won't actually BE there with them) I mean the concert is like 10-15$ and the after party is 100$.


Speaking of over priced things, I wanted to throw some money around locally and get some Christmas gifts. Well one of the new shops is a handmade soap place. I do buy this stuff at renn fests and other faires so I'm used to paying 6-8$ per bar for this. I went into this store and everything was 12$ a bar and up and I noped right out of there. Sorry. And I have no idea how it'll survive in a town where the average salary is 25K a year. Sigh. Then again I went right over and bought a 6$ coffee so what am I complaining about really?

And I'm nearly done with that virtual script and I DID get character sheets for the two guys in my up coming nano (hopefully the ladies will be tomorrow) It's a combination of ancient Elfquest character sheets and character questions that scribesds. Imagine if you will it's the 1980s and there are monsters who are threatening Pittsburgh. Let me know what you think of the characters.
