Camristy swung off his horse and impaled another soldier, moving so fast Solan didn't believe it possible. The enemy mage cursed and slung a bolt of energy at him, crackling with magic Solan knew could seriously wound if not kill on touch.

It burst on Camristy who didn't even slow. The mage cursed loudly. "I didn't believe it."
