Today needs to be returned for a refund

It started okay. Woke up just before the alarm and somewhere between that and leaving my front door things were going sideways. SOmehow I didn't realize the mushrooms I had in a container in two plastic bags to take to the composter at work had leaked so I put them in a cloth bag to go to work That then leaked all over the car (still didn't know it was leaking) and all over my damn office. Then I noticed. ARGH.

On top of this I grabbed the wrong container out of the fridge. Instead of my granola-yogurt I had my farro for tonight's dinner (to be fair they're in the same reusable soup containers and farro is the size and color of granola). So I had to eat dinner for lunch...

I'm struggling to grade something because in filling a void I gave them an endocrine worksheet, to all 34 students so they would be forced to deal with this in hopes it would help on the exam (it didn't) but didn't think it through. It's 75 questions long and I have to hand grade this. Go me.

In the process of doing all this, two students come for make up exams. I get up to get a model for the lab one and I leave up my grading software. I come back and it's EMPTY. It has the assignments but no grades, no students. I have no idea how and I can't get it back. So I think well I've only put in a few grades so I'm not going to save this and like a word document this horrible change won't be saved. Wrong. I guess the software corrupted and that class is gone (the other two were good). Thankfully I have an online back up but I am so upset by this.

Then ants went in my tea cup.

I did get to the student art show and learned that sculpture 1 has paper casting and that interests me. I thought I could try that because I want something special to deal with my last patient notes and my med school notes. I don't want to just destroy them. I want a memorial.

I call my parents and they're having the same type of day. The mother board went out on the garage door opener.
