Today was a bit of a dumpster fire. There was a thing for the high school students who take college classes after work. I did take lead on biology and environmental science with it but to be honest why were we there? No one stopped to talk to ANY of the faculty there for their degrees except me and my partner in wild life. For this I got to come home at nearly at 8 pm to eat pancakes like a sad puppy. And two of the three who stopped to talk to us were students who had us telling us how they're going to different colleges (for what they want I don't blame them)
I feel sorry for my brother and my sister in law. Her mom has kept the mother cat to their kittens all these years. She was like 18 and her kitten was 16 The last of the kittens was in liver failure last night. But it was MOM who passed last night and 12 hours later her kitten followed her, it's like mom called him home with her. It's hard enough to lose one pet but to lose two at once...
So it happened over the weekend that the creator of The Owl House stated Hunter is bisexual (which was IN canon if you were paying attention) and his girlfriend Willow is pansexual (that wasn't represented)
And naturally we're getting the retreaded argument (that isn't what I linked to because just NO) that it doesn't count if they're in a het relationship. No, yinz don't get it. Bi people are still bi no matter who their partner is. Anything else is bi-erasure. I'm so weary of this. It rears its head every so often even in the LGBT publishing community. It just really needs to stop.
