What an ugly day
Nov. 29th, 2016 12:02 amI was woken up at 7 AM by one of those Indian call centers telling me my Windows PC has a virus but they can save me. Then stayed very late to help students who honest...some don't appreciate it. A lot of students any more are aggressive when you make them do anything and have no trouble telling you you expect too much and NEED to be easier because they're going to go complain. Go with God.
And also trying to reassure the students a bit after the terrible happenings in OSU. Going to school shouldn't be so terrifying and dangerous.
The only bright part of the day was cyber monday and buying crap, mostly for me to be honest. How stupid is that? Mostly books, tea and geeky shit. But I did get the Galileo 7 star trek trivial pursuit game for Mom and 50th anniversary St t-shirts for us both.
48075 / 50000 words. 96% done!
Nano Snippet - He saw the mage battling Moki and Solan. Harvest of Sleep in hand, Tenaldi snuck up behind her and managed to clamp a hand over the mage's face, grinding the powder into her nostrils. She blasted him backwards with magic. Incredible pain washed over him as Tenaldi slammed into a tree. Vaguely aware of the mage gagging and Solan screaming his name, Tenaldi tried to force himself up. Everything felt broken.

Yay for prezzies, no matter who they're for!

Date: 2016-11-30 11:10 am (UTC)I have heard that a lot recently. Did you see the article about the 10-or-under year old child who's parents have warped him so much with their coddling the judge was considering taking him away from them?
Yay for prezzies!
