Went to work, had some tornado warnings...enough of them in fact that we were dismissed from class at 1. Our weather had a lot of rain but no twisters, but I get it, sort of. The tornadoes were to the west signficantly but they're going to error on the side of caution.
But it was also raining in my building again. AND the projector bulb, the one we've been telling them about for WEEKS, burned out so now I get to play where to take my students for the foreseeable students. Because they didn't replace the other bulb that burned out earlier this semester.
I had big plans for today with that extra time off. I called the vet. Can't see Rocket for 2 weeks. He looks worse. Call another vet, they're like come on down this afternoon. I do. it's another abscess. He needs neutered so maybe he'll stop fighting and getting these. Honestly I think it's the same abscess since this is the third time in the same foot. This time they gave me oral antibiotics. This is NOT going well. I'm going to call my usual vet and say hey can I bring Rocket in for the appt you gave me in 2 weeks to talk neutering?
My big plans went awry Got so very sleepy that I couldn't do what I wanted to do. Sigh. Speaking of which between the weather and the tiredness I'm not doing the fandom stuff today but I will on Thursday again.
Oh and sadness, the candidate for the wildlife program decided to pass so we're back to the interview game. sigh.
But one fannish thing, fanon definitely has Angel with an eye issue (to account for his different colored eyes) but the wiki has nothing, a google search has nothing so if anyone knows why fandom is so very convinced he's blind(ish) in one eye. (Though I will say I've learned the creator isn't as prepped for the history she's given her characters as one would hope)
