I had a bad one. The good news is my hearing is actually pretty decent with some loss in the left. The pain is partly because my eustachian tube can't open in that ear well but most of it is from the arthritis in my TMJ. Sigh. You need a night guard. I told him the story of woe about my insurance and that.
L wanted to pull the tiger's tail at work today. There was a reasonable request for me to update the general shared syllabus for the nursing A&P and I said yes I'm working on that. She repeated how this needs done. Once. Twice. By the fourth time I snapped, L. I'm ON it. 'I'm tired too you know, you don't have to be snappish.' Oh you're lucky that's all I am. I have no idea what the end game was there.
Came home to reschedule my MRI because I stopped at the clinic in Chillicothe to get the actual phone #. I got that but she can't do the pressure test scheduling. She connects me with who can and lo and behold it's the same bitches from the last time. This woman is so rude I should have asked for her name. She won't even transfer me back to central scheduling. 'i suggest you back track ma'am and find out where you went wrong in calling me.' Look bitch YOUR company gave me over to you. I called back the original people (whom she swore I couldn't possibly call because they don't give out that number) and left another message.
My MRI will cost 800...wtf I've been to a doctor once a week since Jan. HOW is my deductible not met? Well I call the insurance to find out. Several of my visits were not billed yet especially the 2700 for the venous doppler. Also they only apply to the deductible what THEY think the charge should be, not the full charge (which isn't abnormal but it's not great) and if my meds are covered they won't count it to the deductible, just the ones I hav to pay for.
The MRI scheduler goes you need to pay before the MRI. Then cancel me. I'm not paying you until I talk to the insurance. After the third go around about this she goes 'guess we can bill you.' Yeah you do that. OMFG. This took TWO HOURS to deal with. I'm so fucking over today.
Let's continue with the Music Monday Alphabet theme with sharing songs that begin with a certain letter. Feel free to chime in with your favorite song(s) that follow the weekly letter. Give me something to smile about after a day like this. This week's letter is C
