I've had WAY too much sugar

The secretary gave me cookies and my chair gave me a slice of shoo fly pie. ANd I had about 6 20 ounce cups of tea and coffee.

Took all night to get it graded. Just one more to go.

I just saw another book on goodreads that is making me kick my own ass, a pagan mystery. I've been talking about writing one of those for years. One of these days I'm going to do the things I say. I need to focus more or something. even with four hours today I did very little writing. Sigh. I think I was better off with the laptop that couldn't go on the internet.

I took my tablet out of my purse tonight and have no idea where it went.

At least when I got home I had two boxes of books and a box of tea waiting. Yay. My two favorite things. Mom wanted to know if the books were for her. Last year she screamed at me for getting her books. This year she's yelling at me for not getting her any. I live the no win situation.


And since I have very little to say today, let's just skip ahead to the Musical advent calendar day 5. This is a group I really like, Apocalyptica. They bring in interesting guest talent. You don't see terribly many women in metal and this song in particular was one that captured my attention. I think it makes an excellent theme song for Aneirin in Behind Blue Eye. (and if anyone wants to look at a SF novel...)

ETA - Thanks to ADW cleaner, best PUP remover I've ever used. I thought my internet was down for a while and had come back until I realized my laptop was connected but not my desk top. Don't know what got on there but ADW cleaner got it Also I found the tablet. It was under the cat.

Ah, video is not available in my country. Anyway, I like Apocalyptica too, I have a bunch of CDs from them. Found them via someone's fanvid. I've discovered a lot of bands over fanvids.

Watch that sugar!!!! you and my mother have me so worried. All the sudden her sugar started going up into the 250-300 range and she's on a stronger dose of Metformin, but she can't have labs done again until Feb. She said sometimes she goes all day without eating and it only comes down to 175. Anyway, you be careful!
