Yay! The next to last chapter of Built on Lies is ready! And thanks to marenfic  for the beta and for beating me until I made the fight scene not suck. So here you go, fight scenes, oral sex, and a church of bone. Chapter eight.

 

And on another note, for some reason I'm so thirsty. I drank an entire gallon of water. My belly feels all sloshy (and sounds it too) but i'm still thirsty. Who thinks i'll be up all night?

*Oy*, we definitely need a better "thirsty" mood icon. But I don't remember ever seeing Connor drink *anything* (except milk in Angel's hallucination in Deep Down). And come to think of it, did he even drink any of that milk?? I suppose there's a picture of him holding a glass of champagne in "Home"??

I don't know if he drank the milk but I think he DID hold that glass of champagne and I might have it since for a challenge we were looking for pictures of all the characters drinking. I think I managed to put the wrong picture with indescrible too.

Can you find that picture? Then I'll give you a copy of the mood icon and the code for updating that mood.

Indescribable--I used to have the same picture I have for "high", but then I was looking at the mood heirarchy, and it's described as being more "I can't describe my mood", so I put a neutral picture in there instead.

Wah! I went by Buffyworld *and* Romance on BtVS and could not find a pic of Connor holding a drink in "Home". I don't think he does have one when he proposes that toast.

It may have to be the glass of milk. (lame). Angel couldn't have hallucinated Connor drinking soda pop or something??

yep you're right. I went thru this before. I could have sworn Connor picked up that damn glass in Home but if he did no one capped it.

I could try to get a screen capture from Home if he *did* drink, but looking over the captures they had at both sites, there isn't even a glass of wine in front of his table setting.

they are great pics of connor. I liked the first and last the best. He looks a tad out of focus in the one pic where he actually has glass in hand.

Was trying to think if he picked up the glass that Fred brought with his bologna sandwich (proof she was slowly trying to poison him to death). Well if he did it was probably milk too

I'm pretty sure he took the sandwich and just started chowing down on it. Growing boy and all.

I think I'll use the first picture, Connor smiling at Angel over a glass of milk. Warms the cockles of my Congel heart.

I have it on DVD and have this freebie screen capture program on my computer, but it makes the pictures kind of dark.

I think that's exactly what he did after passing on the wholesome tomato to eat god knows what goes into bologna.

That's why that one picture I have for "ecstatic" is used for almost every other "excited" mood in the icon set. I wanted a picture of Connor smiling where it's really him and not Angel's hallucination. And that's the one I found.

True, the only other time I can think of him smiling is in Deep Down showing off his axe work to Gunn/Fred and that one time when Cordy either kissed or praised him but it's more of a smarmy smirk than a smile.

(2) Type in this command, but change the mood icon set identifier (mine is 16428) to your own, and the url to your own. Keep all the other numbers the same.

Uh, because my computer sucks and is possessed by gremlins, when I saved my mood theme just in case something EVER happened to it after I went thru and changed all your codes to mine it DIDNT save it. All I have is YOUR codes so is there some way I can get into mine and figure out my identifier?

Yes, there is a command console command for that. Let me look up what it is.

(1) Go to the command console and type in

moodtheme_list

(2) click execute

(3) Then scroll to the very bottom of the output. You should see a heading "Your themes:" There is a number next to your user name, that's your theme id.
