I have other posts to make but this challenge is always a fun time

Day 1

In your own space, talk about why you're participating in Snowflake and, if you’ve participated in the past, how the challenge has affected you. What drew you to it? What did you take away from it? What do you hope to accomplish this year?

I don't remember how I stumbled across this challenge, other than it was back when fandom was a bit more active on these blogs. What I like about this challenge, is that it's after several really busy months, Halloween fades into Nanowrimo which blends into the winter holidays. I'm tired physically and spiritually by the time January rolls around. This challenge something fun and rather relaxing to me.

It also gives me something else to talk about. I don't have many readers any more now with fandom moved off to tumblr and other places and my friends who remain are probably tired of me complaining. They'd probably love to see something other than my crazy, crappy life.

What do I hope to accomplish this year? Buy a house, get a handle on my health which is huge deal and to continue publishing both as Jana but more importantly working on my finished YA novel and try to find an agent for it (and if anyone would like to beta it, let's talk). I would like to take the trip I didn't get to in 2017. I'm sure there's more but for me those are the main points.
