Today couldn't have been longer

cornerofmadnessIt started at 4 am when my blood sugar crashed to below 60 so I had to get up to eat. So when I got back up it was over 300. Oh the somogyi effect. So I was too wasted from the bounce to do anything. By noon I was up to cleaning and that's when I realize that it's the Ohio primary.
As I go out to vote I see that the guy who lives across from me and is acting caretaker was there so I showed him where my porch collapsed and where it WILL collapse. Let's see if it gets fixed.
I get to the voting place and it's a bit busy (we have the governor's position open). The young woman ahead of me was absent from the computer system. LIterally could not find her even on a county search.
Woman- But I voted for Trump here! I have to be in the system.
Me (in my head) - the computer probably thought you were too stupid to be trusted with voting again and deleted you.
I'm not home an hour when I hear a knock at the door. IT's my neighbor warning me that the scumbag, drug addict would be rapists across the courtyard are trying to throw ME under the bus with the cops who are back for hte second time in four days. Another neighbor had found a drug pipe by a silver car (theirs) and she was trying to say it was MY car. The cop didn't even bother with me. He's not an idiot. No one was removed but they are in theory getting an eviction notice tomorrow, so who wants to bet the cars get keyed again.
I got the summer clothes out and only a little bit of the living room cleaned. And now I have to go to work on thrusday to advise new students. Sigh. So much for cleaning this place up.
