Happy Mother's Day

cornerofmadnessTo all the Mom's out there. Sorry no graphic this holiday. I spent it driving back home.
Tomorrow I'll be cat sitting at my brother's which I think might be just as well as today didn't go well. Partly because I'm tense and now I'll have to make the drive back home within a week. Sigh. Also damn near destroyed Dad's tablet knocking water all over it.
Matters were not helped by a conversation with Dad about this house in Rio. Which I admit isn't bad but it's so far from everything and all my friends but super close to work (like half a mile). I could walk to work Dad naturally chose to say it as 'you're so fat, you need to walk to work.'
Yeah thanks and welcome home to me. Unless he needs me up here for anything I will keep myself at my brother's place all Tuesday (Mom works the election so she won't be home).
Maybe I can use the time to write. Here's hoping.
