I scheduled this early because as you're seeing this, I'm cross three states to get home for Thanksgiving to make Mom happy (I'm not into this holiday but my parents are aging so I want to spend time with them.) I'll edit in day 20's tally once I hit Pittsburgh.

Running late again. It's been a day that's a full week long I swear. I didn't get much done last night for hours until someone said word war. I am, if nothing else, competitive. I end up wiht 1775 words on my nano. Can't hate that.

383 words. I started a new Public Call fic. Because that's a thing you do less than 5 days to the deadline, obviously. But this one feels like it might come together in the right time frame, at least?

I edited the third Spicy Advent fic and the little extra treat thing, too, so I'm all set to post them sometime soon. I didn't have the mental wherewithal to do it tonight; I spent the day finishing the last of the essays I needed to grade and cooking a ton of stuff for tomorrow.

Huh. On a day when I was feeling really sick and didn't think I would be able to write at all, I just now wrote 1190 words.

Turns out it's quite easy to write more when I'm working on a longfic, instead of scrabbling around trying to add tiny bits here and there to a bunch of different one-shots I'm working on all at the same time, the way I've been doing most of this month. In retrospect I feel this should have been obvious. :-)

I was really busy today, and will be busy tomorrow, as the family is coming to my house for Thanksgiving. It's not really that big a deal, since they all live within walking distance and I see them all the time, but still. Lots of cooking & etc.

So I wrote 201 words of spitballing, mainly just to keep my mind on the story.

(I'm once again grateful that Thanksgiving is nonexistend in Germany, and also doesn't have a change to get any foothould - I so couldn't use a major holiday at this time in the year, or even a small one! *g*)
My brain is currently just this short of frying as the deadline of the website project is looming. It's become hard to fit in time for NaNo - but sleep is overrated anyway. 2,2k on the 19th for me, 2k on the 20th, and 1,8k yesterday. I tried to reach my magical 2k goal, but fell asleep over the keyboard...

I've scheduled posts on LJ before, but for some reason I thought I remembered reading that you couldn't do that on DW. That makes things so much freaking easier for me! As a regular mod, and for the upcoming snowflake challenge. I'm so glad I found out about this, lol! Whew!

I like the way LJ does it better, that way you know it's not actually showing up yet. This way just confuses me. *g*

I tried to search the FAQ for it yesterday, but I must've been searching under the wrong terms, like using 'scheduled' instead of maybe 'change date' or even 'edit date'. I'll try that again.
