Iced In

I had Martin Luther King Jr Day off but I was too iced in to go do anything (luckily much melted so I should be able to get out of here tomorrow)





My day was lazy but it was still work. I had printed out my SF novellas (as the edits are due) to see if I had missed anything because how we read on a screen differs from how our brains process things on paper. Sure enough I found some weirdness but that took hours (it's 100 pages long). I'm back to looking over Hyperion's Son again and still finding errors. Wow

We looked at houses online. We sobbed a little (god this place sucks it)

I'm usually a fan of Kroger products especially their Prime Select stuff but man that new BBQ sauce I got was just bad. It sounded good. Red lager & roasted tomato BBQ. It's not the first time I've bought something with boozy beginning that sounded good but wasn't and I'm sure it's not the last. Honestly it tasted like someone found some stale beer, like beer from off the barroom floor, and dumped it into a barely tangy tomato sauce and added sugar. Blech.

I hope the edit go well! I totally agree that paper versus screen changes things. I also find my phone screen and my laptop screen change things too, so sometimes I'll make a private post and read it from my phone where I catch things).
