Someone, ask me out

cornerofmadnessI found my dress clothes that I put in storage and I have no less than four fancy dresses. Now I need a place to wear them. I'm so set for any formal event I might be going to (and no I have NO idea why I bought these things. They were probably at the outlet store for 5$ each and I bought them 'just in case'. Luckily my sister in law could use my medical scrubs. There's hundreds of dollars in clothing that won't go to waste.
The sad thing is I used to go to the gym all the time while I worked and plan to once I get to OH. I love working out in a class setting (home alone, I won't do it) My weight has NOT changed in 10 years in spite of all the exercise and the fact that I eat next to nothing (which my grandmother commented on this weekend, 'you eat nothing, why are you so fat' Ever try to explain complex horomonal problems to a 90 year old?) BUt I have obviously lost all my muscle tone and got more fat because even though my weight hasn't changed 90% of my clothing from when I was working out doesn't fit. Sob.
And the whole toss out the books thing has changed focus...because I found over three DOZEN boxes of books. Oh. My. God! Screw becoming a professor. Let me buy a store front and become a used book dealer. What I might do is sort them, find the sets, maybe keep a couple sets and then sell them. My parents (though Dad keeps changing his mind. I'm going to wall him into his new garage) say the boxes can stay where they are and I can sort them one at a time to get the most out of them since I'm only 4 short hours from home this time out. I AM throwing out all the junk I recorded off the TV. Those tapes are disintergrating any how.
I also found stories I wrote in grade school...in pencil...so faded they can no longer be read. thank god.
Speaking of stories, anyone want to a) beta my multifandom lyric story (isn't that past due? I haven't seen the master list) This story changed focus on me and it's not done but I should have enough to post to get some interest
b) beta my IWRY you story. I didn't write for anyone on my flist so...it's Lindsey centric (it's also not written. I'm just being hopeful here)
