And kleptos. Mom I'm not sure those things were meant to come home with you but okay. She's home and sleeping in my bedroom. She's in relatively good spirits but I can see we're not going to be able to let her alone because she does not listen. She's not supposed to do ANYTHING but sit on her ass but she doesn't want to. Dad and I went to my uncle's a few houses down where i'll be staying in their old mother in law suite so he and my aunt could give me the key, password for the wifi etc and in that short period of time she got up and washed the pans I left soaking in the kitchen. I'm like sit down and be good because you DO NOT WANT this to open back up. You will lose your leg. (and now I remember what I hated about seeing patients, noncompliance.)

On the other hand there's my brother, the smart ass. It's been beautiful mid-70s for weeks. Next week he and I and his wife are going to Gettysburg and it's going to be frakking nineties. I shall die. My brother knows I'll die so he bought me this fan but if it's really hot, he's taking it back for himself. Smart ass.

This made me sad DC Vertigo is no more I guess they'll wrap the issues up which ALL but the Buffy comics I get are Vertigos. Sigh. Well maybe it's for the best.

Haha. That fan is ridiculous! But not as bad as I imagined when I saw it. Thankfully I scrolled down and saw people using it and it made more sense. If it gets hot enough, I don't care what I look like. ;)

Have fun in Gettysburg! I've driven by many, many times but I've never stopped and checked it out.

Whilst I can sympathize with your mother about the frustrating of not doing anything, I also agree with your irritation. If the doctor has told you - do nothing but sit on your ass for recovery, then you do that. I find too many people think they know more than the person who only spent years learning how to take care of people. Even when I disagree with my doctor's recommended course of action, I do it because I figure it's not going to harm me and then I can go back and say "I did what you told me to but it didn't do a thing."

That's sad about Vertigo closing shop. My understanding was that any existing comics would either be finished on the Vertigo imprint or with the new DC Black imprint if they didn't wrap this year. Do you mind me asking which Buffy comics were on Vertigo as I thought Buffy was all on Dark Horse before Boom took over.

OH I mean Buffy was the only non-Vertigo comic I collect right now. I do wonder if the Black imprint will pick up the ones I have but here's the thing I have 7 months of comics I haven't read so maybe I should just stop.
