There are frogs under my bed room
Aug. 15th, 2019 04:05 pmNo lie. Direct came early and that's when I finally went out to that side of the house to see it's been landscaped (with a shit ton of wires cut to hell and gone on the side). He THINKS he knows where the wires are to my apartment. Well the crawlspace now as one of those metal bumpers on it and just a piece of dry wall resting in it. We take that out and there's a LAKE with actively running water from god knows where) and frogs were swimming in it. OMG.
He's like I'm NOT going under there. Who could blame him? The water is pretty deep. So luckily he didn't have to but it was a bear to get everything right. I have Direct and I'm happy so I call Dish to tell them bye bye and then I felt bad. I've been there for 15 years almost. He's like you could have gotten this this and this which was cheaper than Direct, would have happened instantly etc etc and I'm like but I ASKED this. I have a live chat record saying a) even with protection the tech still costs (it doesn't) b) there are no retention breaks for long term customers (there are) c) that it would have cost 200$ to have it upgraded to HGTV and the Hopper (it wouldn't).
I said sorry based on what I was told (which I copied into word and can send you) I decided you didn't value me. He was rather upset at whoever I spoke to and I was upset because this could have been dealt with easily back in APril when I first looked into it.
Went to lunch with the guys from chemistry. Only one will be remaining (at this point), one gone by next spring, one gone immediately (his choice, better job). It was nice but sad. It's always uncomfortable watching men cry (I was the only woman there)
Tomorrow is the faculty development day. I don't want to go but there's no choice. Sigh.
