Maniac Monday

cornerofmadnessOh god this was a MONDAY in every sense of the word. I hated every part of it. It started with weird dreams and overly hot sleep so much so I thrashed out of my clothes, put my back into spasm and my hands clenched so hard the nerve damage was trigger leaving with me pins and needles all day and the tremor (which is what ended my career, no one wants a surgeon with a shaky hand).
I get to work to find out they have the heater on full blast and it NEVER stops all day. It's like 80 freaking degrees. It sapped my will to live and my students too. You shouldn't have to be sweating buckets because of the heater.
Then I had to TURN DOWN a side job at Marshall University Point Pleasant branch. I spoke to them Their instructor left at mid-term but I am SWAMPED. There's no way of picking up more classes right now. I might ask them if I could do one in the spring hybrid (online class, in person lab). They want me to come down and have a look at it anyhow. Hey a toe into Marshall? Yes please.
L was acting out again. Eye roll. That's right you work SO much harder than the rest of us.
Then I had to set up the big bone test which usually takes me between three and a half to four hours. I got it set up but half way through suddenly my sound card stopped working on the lap top. OMG. I restarted and nothing happened. Then about 10 minutes later it began working again. Side eyes Envy. What are you up to my boy? I get it set up, take the exam and realize I forgot a bone. I squeezed it in at the end. thank god I hadn't printed the fill in sheets yet.
