Writerly Ways
Oct. 27th, 2019 11:18 pmWell I've been working until nearly 11:30 in the evening. Yippe. So no real time for writerly ways but I only wanted to say one thing. I'll be doing nano so no writerly ways until December (not that I've been saying anything profound anyhow). I will be doing snippets of my nano all November like always and I will still put up the links once a week.
I am going rogue this year which I think I've mentioned. I have a horrible habit of not finishing my shit (as Chuch Wendig would say) and in theory I can publish what I finish. I mean I've gotten 3 published novels out of nano and 4 published novellas out of the camp.
So I want to finish my paranormal romance set right here in the Hocking Hills and go back to my SF novel with Kaleo. Between finishing those two I will easily get 50K and hopefully two novels worth publishing by the end.
Wish me luck. Unlike many I don't hate nano's new site WHEN it works because it does keep getting stupid with the links running together. I do in fact hate that it lose ALL my buddies (granted I'm not sure what the buddies do at this point unlike camp). THat's fifteen years worth of buddies gone.
If you want to friend me there, I'm DocDana. I'm open to friending people. That said, after 15 years I tend NOT to hang around in the forums much. I get most of the cheerleading here from you all and I pretty much know how to survive nano. I haven't lost yet. Crosses fingers this won't be the year I do as I suck at it (I will say the other thing the site didn't do right is record my camps)
