Made it back

cornerofmadnessThe guy came today and replaced my door entirely. Every part of it was rotted. They did have to haul it away and then it still didn't want to hang right. The lock still barely works. I'm betting it won't soon enough. He forgot half his damn tools. Luckily I had them. I pointed out the front door too. "I can see straight through the top of that door and see daylight.' No shit. I have to jam rags in it all the time. That one can't be fixed. It too will have to be replaced.
But they came early enough that I was able to leave. I forgot my insulin but luckily I was only 10 miles away so I had to circle back. Somehow I didn't die. In spite of it being only 33-34 degrees and pouring it didn't freeze. It was a tedious journey.
Mom's house is decorated to the teeth. I'll take pictures soon.
