Things I forgot about the trip

I have squash growing in MY garden at these apts (there's a flower bed for each end apartment) I'll plant some herbs to go with it.

Every apartment/house except the one I chose had people who believe that sheets and beach towels are acceptable "WInders" coverings. And winders? Hello people there's no R in window. (This from someone who says worsh for wash)

There are two small houses on Rio's campus for sale. I'm surprised the school doesn't buy them to rent to faculty.

There is NO cable out in this area. I have to have a Dish and no one's sure if I can get DSL or afford to

We stopped at the casino on the way home too. I won about 40$

That's cool you've got a little garden. We've never had cable out here and I love our dish network. You might check into wireless. I believe it's a bit cheaper than DSL (at least here) and while it's not quite as fast as DSL it's fast enough to download almost anything you want.

I'll keep it in mind about the wireless. Now I'm back to 8$ a month for callwave since I know I can't afford two phone lines (well I could but I want to save money)

My parents have Dish. It's okay. It goes out every damn time it rains.
