After three days of standing I'm SORE. And more bruises are visible now that I'm healing like most of my left breast and my hands. I couldn't stand my pants today (Had to have them for lab) back to a skirt tomorrow.

I worry about the weekend. It's supposed to rain all Saturday and then go from 50 to 12 degrees. Last thing I need is ice and lose power again. I like winter except for this (well I would worry less if I had gas heat or a fireplace)

Speaking of snowflakes, I was too busy with school so I got behind so here we go

Day 7 Promote/Rec/Sing the Praises* of Yourself!

Though there are days I feel bad about myself I know that's the depression talking. The truth is I'm multi-talented and I am smart as hell (though I do dumb things sometimes).

I have four separate degrees in science (b.s. in biology and chemistry, a masters in biology and I'm a medical doctor). I'm happy to medical-pick your stories for you. Just ask. If it's not in my realm I might have run into it during residency or can help look it up. I, in theory, have a degree in English but never officially graduated. (

I can sew and make my own jewelry. I don't do as much of it now thanks to the career-ending hand injury.

I play multiple instruments with the sax being my favorite. I haven't played in too long though.

And I can write. I'm actually pretty good at it. If I were to be known for anything, that is what I'd love to be known for. You can find my fanfic here on AO3. It's multi-fandom and I'm under the same name on FFN (which has a lot of older stuff I haven't migrated yet.)

I'm also professionally published under two pen names. I only have one short story under the name I hope to switch to in the next few years but I've been publishing a decade now in LGBT romance and you can find that on Amazon here. Kept Tears was awarded an honorable mention on the Rainbow awards so I figure I'm doing something right.

I'm well traveled and want to do more of that. I try to be chatty and understanding but I don't always succeed in being that or I say things wrong but I try.
