Well I failed

I wanted to change the header to this journal. I went to the place it tells you to go to but obviously I am not as smart as I think I am because I didn't get it to change. Sigh. I wish I were better at computer stuff.


I did get one of my promised stories posted so that made me happy at least.

Also making me happy today the Chocolate Strawberry lattes the Spot on Main has for Valentine's Day. Yummy. Of course I can't have that much milk so I regretted it later but I'd do it again.


Speaking of CHocolate, they're doing another chocolate walk this Thursday. I need to see if there are still tickets.

I forgot to say the one good thing about myself yesterday so day 3 - I am creative day 4- I preserver.

Looking at the source code, it seems you've added a link to where the image is hosted, not to the image itself. You'll need to add .jpg (or whatever file format it is) on for it to show up as an image.

Yay for getting the header image to work! To me, it looks like you need to crop the banner down to the size allowed for the header image, and/or adapt the allowed size of the header, depending where in your style you can tweak this. It might help to look up the original style and see if they've already got a header image, and get the measurements from there.
In my style, I replaced the header image and also adapted the height, I think, but I made sure the proportions didn't change too much.
I also suggest uploading the header to your dreamwidt space and linking from there. You have it on imgur now, and this might slow down the loading times for your journal or at least the header image, particularly at the size it currently is. :o)

Edit: I've made you a version 800px wide if you like to try out.

Thanks so much for your help! I very much appreciate it. i still had to diddle a bit with the size but it's much better now. I couldn't figure out where the original header had it's size measurements because I am REALLY bad at this
