It's embarrassing all that was in there. Three large plastic bins of books, one long box meant to go under the bed (but can't) with just a few Buffy magazines in it, two small boxes of comic books, like four bags (two large) of beads and crap, artwork, and about a half dozen misc. bags of nonsense, four bags of cosplay stuff, two bags of blankets...
And a lot of mouse poop but no new nests (and still no mice in the traps). I found belts and clothing on the floor, all in the bin to be washed now. Also in there was a bag that was meant for Good Will. Speaking of which, if you're like me and cleaning DO NOT just drop stuff off at charity shops. Most are closed. There was a big plea in the Pittsburgh area for people to stop dropping stuff off because it's all going to have to be thrown out. Put it somewhere until the stay at home stuff is over and then donate it (and if you're a thrifter, give it a week after the lock downs are over and you're going to be in heaven....)
I put plastic down over the carpet in the closet just because. I haven't put anything back. I did get at least a dozen or more books for donation or gifting. I found a bunch of how-to writing books. Many of them I'm donating but the how to write crime I'm hanging onto because it's a whole series...but it is 20 years out of date. Sigh...
I also have WAY more autographed books than I ever imagined. Of course I won like 90 books on Goodreads giveaways (which OMG) and some of those were signed (and some of those I would never have kept if they weren't signed to me)
Parents (listening to me talk on phone) Are YOU okay? You can barely breathe.
Me: Told you cleaning would kill me. I'm allergic to dust AND cleaning supplies so after two days of cleaning and chloroxing everything in that closet it's like breathing thru two soggy paper straws. I stopped cleaning 2 hours ago but I can't breathe still. Ugh.
I did get my gen freeform story done ( thanks ELD for the edits) and I need to post that.
And my day started weird. I was dreaming I was at my grandmother's house (mom's like AGAIN? You're always in that house) and there were three people I didn't know in the kitchen. I knew things were tense. Then one of them bites straight through the woman's head and started eating her brains. Zombies! I went flying out the door. It was dusk. An African-America nurse (for my grandmother who wasn't in the house for some reason) was waiting in her car and she drove us out of there. We ended up i a city I've never seen but that's where I woke up. Mom said I'm weird. I asked are you surprised? 'No I'm really not.'

Date: 2020-04-11 03:07 pm (UTC)I hate when mice invade the house. I've had to clean kitchen drawers and cupboards soooo many times.
My mom told me they don't like peppermint (some drops on a cotton ball) and I've heard dryer sheets will keep them away. Worth a try!

thanks that's worth a try
