Finding all the Things

cornerofmadnessIt's been a day of finding all the things. Mom called me at 1 pm to tell me she had finally dug into the bottom drawer of the chest on chest, like she promised me she would (i.e. she is BORED. Dad refuses to let her go out to do the shopping because she's badly asthmatic and they're both in their late 70s)
And she found ALL the long-missing Buffyverse autographed photos I had collected in Florida. Way too many, more than I should ever have bought and I was very upset that they're gone. I had to move things quickly when I left FL and I shipped a ton of stuff home. Mom had always said she got everything but NO ONE knew where these autographs were and along with them an animation cel Flippy gave me that I want to sell because I don't collect them. We honestly thought maybe that box had gotten lost in the shipping but apparently she had taken it out of the box and put it in the drawer where it has been for SIXTEEN years. (yeah mom, you no longer can yell at me for not going thru my stuff!) I can't wait to see them all again.
And then I started cleaning up the last remaining section of my back room. I found a) my spare inhaler from last spring so that should still be workable b) a bag of beer. Don't ask. I don't know. c) a bag of seeds including ones from Buchart Gardens in Victoria Canada.
Now I've been looking for that for YEARS. It was right next to the task chair. Now there's no way in fuck it's been there for the several years it's been missing because where it's at was cleaned out last year when ELD visited. Was it in the closet and I flung it there as I cleaned out mouse poop? Most likely. The seed bag still had its customs label on it. In there were the blue Himalayan poppy seeds (plus three I forgot about entirely) that are in theory hard to grow. I might wait until the fall to try this in the greenhouse at work. I also found heirloom seeds I bought a few years ago as well. Now how did they all get in this bag without me knowing the Canadian seeds were in there? No fucking clue. I'm awesome that's how.
I wanted to share this video from ET (speaking of Canada). So Prodigal Son is the #1 new show globally and Fox has STILL NOT RENEWED IT! Really Fox? What the hell? I swear to god if it doesn't renew I might never bother with a Fox show again. They never seem to know what to do with a hit.
And on a down note, did I honestly hear the President in today's press conference say maybe (MAYBE) using chlorox injected (ingested?) could help stop the virus? Was that an out of context clip? A joke? My twitter feed is filled with doctors going DO NOT DO THIS. Can someone please explain to him what the Mr. Yuck stickers are all about?
