To get thru all those beads. Towards the end I just threw a bunch in a box to bag up for my BFF from college for her daughter and their girl scout troupe. Then the wheel fell off the stupid cabinet. Now I need to take out the bead drawers so I can flip it and put it back on. I'm soaking the pee-beads now. Luckily it really was just that one small bag.

And the day started wrong footed. I had left the mouse traps down out of laziness. Guess who had a dead mouse this morning...yeah. Fuck.

I also got the seedlings transplanted. So small steps, a little progress. I wanted to do more but I suck at cleaning.

Need to get writing now.

However I do have something if you want to play. I got this from [personal profile] sylvanwitch & [personal profile] thenewbuzwuzz who gave me the letters D&E which made me laugh (as those are my initials) I'm using Sylvan's updated version

Name a BAND (NOT a song, NOT a solo performer) that starts with the letter “D or E” and provide a YouTube link of one of their songs.
• Please don’t Google one, just use your brain.
• I'll then give you a letter for you to REPOST.

For those of us who are just forgetful, I think it's perfectly okay to look up your own playlists and music collections for a name, but searching the Internet for random bands is cheating.

Of course, if you'd like to leave a comment but do NOT want to repost with a letter on your own blog, just let me know in the comments. You do not have to repost to play. :-)

So can you use D or E or both!! Here's what I came up with

and

and for the Prodigal Son Brightwell fans I have this

It's an old computer, I'm trying to nurse it along but I never know if it will cooperate.

Maybe you shouldn't be because they're amazing, one of my favourite bands =D

Yes, I'm British, but country music is what I love! Always has been.

I usually think easiest of folk or medieval bands. Dédale (French folk), Estampie (German medieval) come to mind rigth away.

Edit: sorry, I'm braindead with migraine, forgot the video links.
Dédale live - I couldn't find a video of one of my favourites; they're not very well represented on YT
Estampie, Bluomenrot(one of my absolute favourite songs ever)

I'll listen to other music at times, but I grew up listening to mum's Jim Reeves records, and we both went on from there. She discovered Willie Nelson, and I found Ol' Waylon, and between us we amassed a huge collection of country LPs, then a huge collection of country CDs. I miss the evenings we spent listening to country shows on the radio. Those were the best times. Happy memories.

Mum and I used to go to concerts together. Amazingly some of the big stars did make it over here!

The nineties was a great time for country, we had two two-hour long country radio shows a week, playing all the latest releases and artists, so we got to hear everyone. I miss those days.

There are a few good tracks out there, but on the whole I prefer the older stuff

I had Ty Herndon's House on Fire CD on repeat for weeks after I got it.
