So a few things shook out in TV land. For one one of my worries came true. I was a little worried that Michael Sheen's activism might be one of the things holding up Prodigal Son's renewal and that might be true I admire him for it. I know he's not keen on being in NYC long term but I would also hate to see this show be torn because of his schedule so I hope it works out.

And then this blindsided me. Ruby Rose is leaving Batwoman Wow. Okay to be honest I'm not 100 percent a fan of the show. I like it, not love it. I do however love Ruby and she's perfect as Batwoman. I am sorry she's leaving.

I got my intoabar assignment. Malcolm Bright is to meet Charles Gunn. I have ideas...

I didn't do much today again as I had another night of shattered sleep, up every hour thanks to high blood sugar (which makes you pee) and then my manga tipped over at 5 AM and scared the shit out of me. ANd it was so hot However, it's dropped nearly 30 degrees since yesterday. YAY. Now if it would only stop raining.

Like many schools mine is considering 100% online again in the fall and they asked could I (yes at extra expense and NO paper this time. It won't work with how labs are in the fall) and then said there's a 4 hour training/brainstorming online training, yes will you do it, or are you refusing to participate. Um...I'm scared to say NO but FOUR HOURS? No, dudes, that is too much.

Also there was student who contacted me, a new one who said no one in admissions was talking to them and a friend told them I was helpful and this student is biology I did get the ball rolling but WTF?

I also took a try at sour cream coffee cake and it came out pretty good. I'm getting decent at baking.

I got my assignment and they actually had to reassign me because my first one was a non-speaking sidekick to one of the antagonists. I have an idea for my new assignment, but it's a COM novella so trying to think of how I can parse it down into something less of a project (like what scene or scenes are the juiciest and can I skip to them with little to no set up?).

Oh dear well I'm surprised that doesn't happen more often with some of these very minor characters.

For once I'm lucky, my idea is relatively short. Good luck with the novella parsing

I don't know Sebastian but that sounds like it could be fun. I'll be looking forward to it.

Right now I'm hopeful because even FOX has picked up fan memes to renew and they're sort of tweeting them around (It seems to be warner brothers and sheen holding things up)

And I know you have a ton of bad stuff going on but if you ever get to thinking on what you'd like for fandom trump hates just PM me

Sebastian is a snarky gay guy and hilarious to write, so I am looking forward to it.

I actually haven't even seen the last few episodes yet, but hopefully this weekend.

o_O That is surprising (and sad) news about Ruby Rose. I guess keeping the one DC show I watch on my tv viewing schedule might not happen, depending on the recast. Bummer.

Yeah I was really surprised by that. She was the one thing I liked about the show

To be fair to the mods, the sidekick character appears in a large number of episodes all listed on his Wiki page, so on paper he looks like a legit choice. You'd have to read/watch the series to know he and his partner are the comedy sidekicks who repeat the same two lines. They were super quick to offer a replacement character when I asked what to do.

Yes I can see why they could do that. There's far too many fandoms for them to know them and if it's listed as a character well yeah. I'm glad it was easy to get a substitute
