Not fit for company

I've been feeling inadequate, just completely lacking in all realms. I know this isn't true but the feelings are hard to shake. Today made it worse between the news (which you cannot avoid if you turn on any electronic), between the health, between the ever changing work load. I'm alternately in tears or in a rage.

Luckily I didn't have to talk to too many people today. I spent it editing a thesis for a student. Now to do this via Track Changes and see what the other prof said.

I edited my novella's proof and found that even the copy editor wanted more. I'm like really? You think these characters are this good? It's paranormal and I know I don't want to set the sequel in Cassadaga FL again. I just don't know where and what they might be doing.

I edited my Pson's big bangs first several chapters back from the beta reader's red inking. She's never done this before so she says. She did a better job than some of the pro editors I've worked with. Unfortunately she agrees with me about a problem in the thing. I'm trying to fix it so I don't have to lose about 10K of fiction that I think is fundamentally fun.

K: What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc? Hmmm that is hard to say. Honestly Buffyverse managed to screw up every character I liked so you know what, none of them.

Edward and Alphonse Elric really probably had the best character arc so thank you FMA.

Prodigal Son is too soon to say but Malcolm is so very compelling.
