I finished These Haunted Hills It should never have taken me a couple of years. I should have finished it last year but to be honest the last two years have been insanely hard. I'm lucky to have anything at all written so I'm taking it and running. I think it's one of the better things I've ever written or will be once it's all beta read and edited.


I still cannot get into my Buffy story. It needs help. In spite of myself and my publisher worries, I did start the novella. I'm not sure what to do about it.




I think we've avoided a lockdown tonight but we're on curfew. I doubt this will do much to curve the covid spike. I just want to make it to December. If I DO go home for Christmas I will not be allowed out of the house in PA for 2 weeks. I also know prejudice girl and hateful husband plan to be there for christmas and no amount of me telling my parents this is a fucking stupid idea will make a difference. Sigh.


Also I'm tired of students blowing off their make up exams. I will now have spent at least 10 hours in access in making up this exam for all of those who need it and havent' shown up.

Congrats on finishing your novel! Good luck on the Buffy project and on the Cassadega Nights sequel. I think it's marvelous you have any energy or brainpower, given your work situation, never mind enough to write a book! Brava!

I'm not doing much with the novella until I hear back from my publisher who will be getting another email because it's been a couple weeks with no contact.
