Winter Storm Malcolm didn't deliver much more than 8 flakes for that matter. In a way I'm glad because I have to go to the dentist on monday and I'd have wanted to go play in it which was a bad idea given how BUSY I am.

And that has stressed me out. I'm in a foul, quick tempered mood. I.E. the start of the semester usual. I did manage to get the syllabi done. Tomorrow I have to prep for tuesday, print a few things, and then deal with my own online class and figure out how to work this up for implementation. I need to review epidemiology too. I haven't taught that in four years.

I will continue with my postponed writerly ways from a couple weeks ago tomorrow, and I've tossed away the 1920s monster hunters for now, but in the meantime have this new book, gorgeous cover, that happens to be about those Tulsa Riots (which have been hidden from most history classes I've ever been in which is bad enough) Angel of Greenwood

A wish list well I don't really need too many more icons, I don't have a lot of Prodigal Son ones (I have a handful) especially of Gil who is my favorite. (but anything anyone cares to make me will be joyfully received!) I don't have a good source of images though.

All my AO3 works are here. My biggest fandoms are Prodigal Son, Fullmetal Alchemist and Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel the series but I've dabbled in a lot of things. And kudos and comments are always very welcome. That has tapered off a bit in fandom lately. I miss it.

In particular I'd love a podcast of any of my shorter stories, especially Prodigal Son and BVtS.

Cover art (manipulations, drawn, whatever is your job) and story trailers for any story would be gleefully shown to everyone who will look while I squee. But there are certainly stories I would absolute lovely that for these stories

Make sure you have a clear permission statement on your AO3 profile to allow anyone to make podfics of your works. Can't hurt.

I'm watching the last season of Attack on Titan but my god is it boring

There is quite a lot of manga so you're good there!

What about the 4th season isn't doing it for you? I admit that I am a huge AoT fan and have read the manga; I've been so, so pleased with the new episodes. I could see how the new characters and setting might be uninteresting, though. This series has had so many characters get introduced 2 eps before they die, so there is some fatigue there in trying to know who to care about and who will soon be dead. Season one lost me on my first watch years ago for that exact reason (slower paced world-building coupled with massive kill offs).

Oh cool

The library stopped getting the manga so I never finished and I was bored with it so I never went looking for it afterward (did I get to volume 25? maybe?) is it done? Once we started getting into the whole Marley history crap it lost me. I just find that dull for whatever reason. Mostly because it kept going on and on and on...

The manga will wrap in April of this year with Vol. 34 so it's very nearly done. This story is one of those 1,000 piece puzzles that doesn't make much sense at all until the last piece clicks in. I gave up on the first season back when it was first airing, then during lockdown I caved to friends and went back to binge watch. It was very satisfying to consume seasons one through three in one go (and then I went to the manga and am current as we wait on the last few chapters). That said, not everyone will like every story, so if it didn't vibe with you then there's no reason to waste time on it.

Jujustu Kaisen is a fun shounen series that reminds me a little of Dr. Strange, Naruto, and Ghost Hunt? One thing that's fun about the manga (and by virture, the anime) is that the mangaka said SCREW FILLER and does this little time skips all the time. It's all action plot all the time. And the head sorcerer is such a brat: Satoru Gojo.

That's cool. I liked it so much at first I even have a hoodie from AoT but man this Marley stuff just isn't working for me. I guess I should try to find it online because I know I don't like it enough to pay 10$ a volume. I really mostly liked Levi and Zoe to be honest.


Yep, I would probably love Jujustu Kaisen that is literally right up my alley (also I adored Ghost Hunt)

Quick drive-by post to say oh wow over AoT actually finishing in April. I read the manga up to Ch 91 I think and up to 2nd or 3rd season of the anime. I've been thinking of catching up the manga's finale when it finishes.
