GIP and a UPS update

look at the pretty icon mzzgoddessblue  made for me to get me moving on my stories (it hasn't quite worked but I am trying) and evil_little_dog  should have told me that the old phone lines had horribly disintergrated her icon. I've reloaded it here (should go do the same with my layout) Looks much nicer now

 

And so mom calls me this morning. QVC said what the hell is UPS talking about. They have the order form and they did NOT request a signature. UPS in other words, screwed up. Wow, am I shocked or what? THen there's a knock on the door (figures I'm still in my night gown) It's the UPS driver. He askes, 'so afternoons are no good for you?' I say, no that's when I work. He says, 'no problem, I'll swing by in the mornings then.' I said Chillicothe said you couldn't do that. He looks shocked then shrugged as if to say 'they're idiots' and now I have my ugly pillows. And they ARE ugly. They're the huge two feet long ones and QVC was out of the nice ones so I'm making them cases so they're not hideous

Just catching up on the trials and tribulations of the UPS relationship. What a waste of time! Stupid delivery system!

I'll wrestle you for your smart classroom. My course is most definitely un-smart, and the ELMO seems to be a bust. I had it working in my office in a manner that looked decent this morning, but when I took it down to class, it looked like crap. The room was too bright. And *I* looked like a dork, holding up a picture of the Great Pyramid while I talked about it. I miss my old school's "Star Ship Enterprise" mighty control panels. *cries*

Glad you survived you (and me!) survived the first week. So, what, that's 1 down, 14 to go? Oh, yeah, that makes me feel reeeeeeeally good. :P And I don't even have a Bennigan's to go to for a drink. I need to start buying my wine in bulk for home consumptions, je pense...

Yeah my old school had a better smart room too. You looked like a dork with a pyramid. I looked like I dork with a bunch of finch heads trying to explain adaptive radiation and Darwin's little theory...

Bennigan...should have gone for the Guiness. This one screwed up my beloved honey apple mead drink. sob
